No audio from Flash browser plugin

I don't remember when it happened, since I don't frequent sites that
require the Flash plugin, but when I did visit a "Flash" site
recently, I noticed that there was no audio, but the video worked
fine. This happens in both Firefox 3 and IE7. I have the latest Flash
plugin installed in both (Firefox is my primary browser).

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a correction for this, or a
setting that I'm missing? QT plugin works fine both audio and video,
and my audio is working perfectly otherwise.

HELP!!!

Thanks in advance

Get ready to go there again, but check sound from a CD then youtube right
before you do. If both OK but not this other site then that's just a flaw on
their side. If sound is okay this time then it is probably a small
instability between flash & sound card. I get that sometimes, just close and
re-open browser.

The flash player is the most solid media player I've used and I've messed
with a lot of audio in my own time.
