Hi all,

I'm in Flash CS3 on WinXP.

How do I align 1 object to another? Assume I hav 1 object which is in
the correct position, and I dont need to move it. I hav another object
which supposed to be vertical aligned to the first object. How do I do
this without moving the 1st object.

In Ai, u get this feature by clicking on the first object after
selecting both, which wil become a non-moving object in that
particular aligning process.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I also want to know if there is some way of doing this but since I've
not discovered it, I use a trick:

Put all the misaligned objects to the right of the correctly aligned
one. Then select "Align Right Edge" All objects will move to the right
except for the rightmost (the correctly placed). Of course same
technique for the Left, top or bottom.

*The problem is when you want to align objects of several widths* (or
heights) to the center of an object. You could duplicate your correct
object, align this copy with the other objects and then move all of them
to match the copied object with the original and then delete the copy.

Corel Draw is very easy: the last object you click is the object that
keeps its place.
